Simple, Easy to Follow Diet Plan - 3333 Diet

People often think of “a diet” as a specific weight loss plan, but diet simply refers to the types and amounts of food a person eats.

A healthful diet must include a balance of several food groups, as no single group can provide everything the body needs for good health.

Making healthful food choices reduces a person’s risk of many chronic health conditions, including cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and cancer.

There is a wealth of information available, so designing a suitable, healthful diet can feel overwhelming. That said, a few simple changes can make a diet more nutritious and reduce the risk of many medical problems.

Personally I have tried many different “diet plan” with the last few being intermittent fasting(IF) and Keto diet. Of course we want a diet plan that will work the best for us and friendly on our wallet, and today allow me to take some time to share with you the “3333” diet plan that I was on.

So you must be wondering what’s a “3333” diet plan, you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to understand it and let me breakdown for you in a simple term.

· There is 4 food categories needed in a meal

· We eat 3 meals a day, each meal makes up of 3 portion of each food category

· Therefore “3333”

So how do I execute the “3333” diet plan? Just remember cupped hand, fist size and open palm.

  • 1 X cupped hand size of Storing foods, the carbohydrates (Bread, Rice, Noodle, Potato)

  • 1 X fist size of Burning foods from your lean meat proteins ( Fish, Chicken, Beef)

  • 1 X fist size of Burning foods from your non-meat proteins (Dairy products, Egg, beans)

  • 1 X open palm size of Protecting foods (Fruits and Vegetables)

The method of cooking is also a KEY to the effectiveness of "3333" diet plan.

For eg:

As you can see clearly from the illustrations on how each method of cooking contributes to different calories outcome ! Same food, different cooking methods equals to different calories outcome !

Thus, if we are understand more on our food and their cooking process, calories counting become redundant.

At the end of the day, it is all about self-control. We can indulged in the food we like, just keep it moderate !
